Thank You, Partners
Thanks go to Rock City Pizza and Ice and the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce for supplying hearty snacks and refreshing drinks.
In addition, thank you, City and County of Broomfield, for allowing us to congregate at the Broomfield Recreation Center Lakeshore room.

In April 2026, we also hosted a second annual teen-focused Volunteer Match event in conjunction with Communities that Care and the City and County of Broomfield. These nonprofits have youth-appropriate volunteer opportunities.

Tips for Teaching Children about Philanthropy
One of the most important lessons we can teach children is how to care for and support others. From an early age, young people benefit from understanding that not everyone has the same opportunities and that sometimes life's challenges are beyond a person's control. Philanthropy helps children see that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
Teaching children about generosity also helps them understand how communities thrive. Whether it's supporting families in need, advancing research and innovation, protecting the environment, or helping neighbors through difficult times, charitable action strengthens our communities and encourages others to get involved. The ripple effect of giving can be far-reaching.
Should you be hosting nieces and nephews or grandchildren during the summer break, access the Tips for Teaching Philanthropy document to create a meaningful learning experience.
