A Community Celebration 25 Years in the Making

As we reflect on the 25th and final Heart of Broomfield, we are filled with gratitude for the Business Impact Partners, Family Sponsors, donors, volunteers, past honorees, and community leaders who helped make this milestone celebration possible.

For 25 years, Heart of Broomfield served as an opportunity to recognize the individuals, families, businesses, and organizations whose generosity helped shape our community. The final event was both a celebration of that legacy and a reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together in service to others.

The evening's most meaningful moment was honoring Jack Jr. and Penny TerHar and the TerHar family with the Enduring Heart Lifetime Achievement Award. Their vision, generosity, and leadership have helped strengthen the Broomfield Community Foundation and countless community initiatives over the past quarter century.

Just as importantly, the event reunited generations of community leaders, volunteers, nonprofit partners, and residents who have contributed to Broomfield's success. The atmosphere throughout the evening reflected the relationships and shared commitment that have long defined our community.

As attendee Bill Heck observed:

"The crowd assembled for the Roundup last Thursday evening was amazing—not only did you have the right long-term Broomfielders, you had newcomers as well. The crowd was a statement of the success of the Foundation."

Tina Eichner shared a similar sentiment:

"A room filled with dozens and dozens of Broomfield change makers including many who helped shape this very town... Lots of smiles and hugs and love. These people ARE Broomfield—and so am I."

Those reflections perfectly capture what Heart of Broomfield has always been about: bringing people together to celebrate generosity, strengthen connections, and inspire community impact.

To our sponsors and partners, thank you for investing in a stronger Broomfield. Your support helps the Broomfield Community Foundation connect generosity with community needs, strengthen local nonprofits, support students through scholarships, and create opportunities that improve lives for generations to come.

While the Heart of Broomfield chapter has come to a close, the spirit of collaboration, philanthropy, and community leadership it celebrated will continue to guide our work for years to come.
