Broomfield Housing Solutions Forum and Housing Heroes Book Club Opportunity
March is Sleep Awareness Month, a reminder that a good night’s sleep begins with a safe and stable place to call home. In Broomfield, however, 62% of households are considered housing cost-burdened, meaning they spend more than 30% of their income on housing costs (referenced in Housing for All: A Collaborative Housing Strategy.
Rising living costs and stagnant wages are putting pressure on many neighbors—from long-time residents on fixed incomes and individuals with disabilities to renters and first-time homebuyers. Essential members of our workforce—including teachers, restaurant servers, caregivers, and veterans—are also impacted, with some spending upwards of 75% of their income on housing.
The Broomfield Housing Solutions Forum (BHSF) brings together community partners dedicated to advancing innovative, compassionate housing solutions. You are invited to join a meeting to learn more! Details are below.
Who: Community members interested in housing solutions are welcome to attend.
Date: The third Thursday of each month (the next meeting is March 19, 2026)
Time: Runs from 3–5 PM
