Grant Recipients
The following grants have been approved by the Board of Directors. These will be celebrated at a reception on Thursday, April 15 at
8:30 AM. at the Broomfield Senior Center, 280 Lamar in Broomfield. These grants are from the Foundation's Partners in Philanthropy fund, the Broomfield Crossing Rotary Club donor advised fund and the Spallone donor advised fund. This reception is open for all those that wish to attend.
Boulder County AIDS Project - HIV prevention programs targeting youth in Broomfield-$1000
Boulder Shelter for the Homeless - Assistance with the winter sheltering and transition programs for 2010-$1500
Broomfield Choral Festival - Support for the 2010 community-wide festival concert planned for September-$500
Broomstock - Help with expenses for this day-long event of music and art provided by and for area youth to celebrate the end of the school year.-$1500
Broomfield High School Orchestra - Assistance with the spring benefit concert-$500
Broomfield Summer Youth Players - Help to fund a fully staged play that is produced, directed and performed by local youth ages 11-18.-$1000
Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum - Support for the Memorial Day picnic-$1200
Chamber Ensemble con Grazia - Assistant with performance costs in 2010-$800
Colorado Alternative Resource for Education - Help to support the Math Together pilot program at Coyote Ridge Elementary School-$1500
Dental Aid - Provide dental care for uninsured, low income Broomfield children-$3150
Holy Family High School - Support for after prom program-$800
Junior Achievement - Scholarships for two high school students from Broomfield to attend the JA Business Week 2010-$1600
Parenting Place - Provide assistance for education and support services for low-income families and children, ages 0-5-$1000
Sense of Security - Helps breast cancer patients in Broomfield County that are struggling to pay bills-$1000
